This New York pied-à-terre was designed for a European couple living primarily abroad — a residence that needed to function with ease across long absences, yet feel immediately personal upon arrival.

The design balances luxury with a subtle sense of eclecticism, placing strong emphasis on stone selection and architectural finishes. Materiality leads the overall composition: rare marbles, warm oak millwork, and sculptural furniture pieces create a layered interior that rewards close attention.

Curated contrasts — between the raw vitality of stone and the refinement of bespoke joinery — give the space character while maintaining a sense of restraint. The result is a refined yet expressive interior: elegant, personal, and grounded in craftsmanship.
